Service Description
This Pilates Mat course is designed for anyone wishing to begin or deepen their practice of this movement discipline with a therapeutic focus. Rooted in the classical method developed by Joseph Pilates, the course follows his six fundamental principles: Control, Concentration, Flow, Precision, Powerhouse, and Breathing. Based on these principles, each class offers a full-body approach aimed at improving flexibility, balance, deep core activation and strengthening, spinal decompression, postural alignment, and muscle relaxation—all contributing to a sustainable sense of well-being. Due to the therapeutic orientation of this class, participants are strongly encouraged to inform the instructor of any relevant health conditions (bones, joints, surgeries, pathologies, or injuries), so the practice can be safely and thoughtfully adapted to individual needs. A biomechanical assessment can also be requested from the facilitator. Each session is varied and dynamic, designed to support progressive learning. To enhance both engagement and effectiveness, five classical Pilates Mat props may be used throughout the practice: the Magic Circle (Pilates ring), Swiss Ball (fit ball), Foam Roller, Mini Ball, and Resistance Bands. Cancellation Policy is 6 Hours (for ALL classes) Classes will not be reimbursed if cancelled less than 6 hours before class starts. Late Cancels on Unlimited Packages are subject to 15 Euros penalty fee. WORKSHOP/EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY is 24 hours Please arrive on time, the door will be locked when the class begins. Latecomers will not be admitted.
