Alex is a passionate and experienced Zouk dancer who began his journey in 2013 at Stolárna in Brno, Czech Republic. Since then, he developed a deep connection with Zouk and its community, participating in numerous events across Europe and worldwide. Fonsy has danced and trained in Brazil, the birthplace of Zouk—specifically in Porto Seguro,
Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo—gaining first-hand experience with the dance’s cultural roots. In Europe, he has actively taken part in Zouk festivals and workshops in Portugal, Spain, the
Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France, where he has participated at Zouk MAC-Paris.
Fonsy has joined various Jack & Jill (J&J) competitions, as well as social and training events, continually evolving as a dancer. Known for his musicality, connection, and expressive energy, Fonsy is dedicated to both preserving the authenticity of Zouk and helping it grow globally.
